Salesforce announced financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2024 ended April 30, 2023. Aptean announced its acquisition of TOTALogistix, a provider of cloud-based transportation management systems (TMS) to manufacturers, retailers, and distributors in North America. Oracle announced new capabilities in MICROS Simphony Cloud Point-of-Sale (POS) that help restaurants be more productive and expand selling channels, implementing direct integrations to third-party delivery services, such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, as well as built-in QR Codes for payments.

Last week, Salesforce announced financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2024 ended April 30, 2023. First-quarter revenue was $8.25 billion, up 11% year-over-year, with a first-quarter GAAP operating margin of 5% and a non-GAAP operating margin of 27.6%. Subscription and support revenues were also up 11% year-over-year at $7.64 billion.
Salesforce continues to cement its place in the software market, demonstrating substantial growth quarter after quarter. We are looking forward to its continued momentum and to see how the vendor reinvests those funds to benefit users.
In other growth-related news, Aptean announced its acquisition of TOTALogistix, a provider of cloud-based transportation management systems (TMS) to manufacturers, retailers, and distributors in North America. TOTALogistix’s platform specifically supports critical shipping functions, including supply chain design, procurement, freight audit and payment, and freight brokerage.
The TOTALogistix solution will complement Aptean’s offerings, as it continues to acquire solutions to meet the specific needs of clients in the food and beverage industry and fully deliver value within its expanding technology stack.
Finally, Oracle announced new capabilities in MICROS Simphony Cloud Point-of-Sale (POS) that help restaurants be more productive and expand selling channels, implementing direct integrations to third-party delivery services, such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, as well as built-in QR Codes for payments. Additionally, new APIs make it easier for brands to connect applications and data across their operations to find new efficiencies and simplify menu data management.
