Hi and welcome to episode 149 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

The week started with a bang as IFS announced its first half-year financial results for 2024. Strong growth continued with Annual Recurring Revenue up 24% year-over-year to over 850 million Euros and Cloud Revenue up 20% year-over-year. This reporting period held further importance with software revenue now representing 82% of total revenue. IFS’s momentum continues in the first half of 2024 demonstrating their growing hold in the market.

In major transformative news, Acumatica announced a new program designed to increase its reach in identifying small and mid-sized businesses that would benefit from cloud-based business management solutions. The no-cost Alliance Program aims to drive co-innovation for growth, foster collaboration at scale, and invest in the future. By partnering with industry, technology, and finance experts, Acumatica will enhance efficiency and drive operational excellence, supporting businesses as they transform their operations. With this new program, Acumatica will be able to deliver to companies in need of deep industry functionality.

Then, Workday increased its ability to deliver value to customers through its expanded strategic partnership with Kainos Group to jointly advance the development and distribution of purpose-built apps for Workday customers through Built on Workday. This strategic partnership gives customers direct and seamless access to Kainos’s products – Kainos Smart Test, Kainos Smart Audit, and Kainos Employee Document Management. Kainos will be able to leverage this partnership to deliver its products more widely and reach new markets.

In other news, Oracle announced new user experience capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management. Built with Oracle’s Redwood user experience and designed specifically for employees, managers, and specialists, the new Oracle Activity Centers enable users to increase productivity and accelerate progress toward organizational goals. The first four Oracle Activity Center experiences include Employee Activity Center, Team Activity Center, Recruiting Activity Center, and Payroll Activity Center. Maintaining employee relationships and faith in the businesses they work for is more important than ever, which makes solutions like those from Oracle vital to empowering businesses for the future.

Finally, UKG announced that enterprise software industry leader and former Co-CEO of SAP Jennifer Morgan has been appointed CEO of UKG. Morgan succeeds Chris Todd, who has served as CEO since 2022 and is stepping down after 17 years with the company. UKG is setting the stage for substantial future growth.
