Hi and welcome to episode 44 of The ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.

Last week, NetSuite released results from their fiscal 2022 fourth quarter. NetSuite ERP Cloud Revenue was up 27% year-over-year.

NetSuite has become the middle market de facto ERP that organizations lean towards. While the competition is definitely heating up, we do not see an end in sight for NetSuite’s dominant position to continue to increase into the next several years.

Rootstock Software, a worldwide provider of cloud Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, announced new enhancements to its Cloud ERP to meet the needs of manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain organizations. They introduced product enhancements through enabling a resilient supply chain, improved demand planning, enhanced financial analytics, an improved user experience, optimized mobile capabilities, leveraging of Einstein AI and LNP for improved employee experience, and self-service via Einstein Bots.

We continue to watch Rootstock as it matures and gains more traction in the market because it fits a niche for pure cloud multiple tenant SaaS solutions that the other legacy vendors do not offer.

In ERP philanthropic news, Microsoft recently announced the utilization of their products in Columbia to improve education and in Israel to provide low-cost crop insurance to small farmers. Through the use of the Airband Initiative in Colombia, they have connected more than 180 schools. In Israel, their technology has improved an insurance company’s ability to analyze weather data and cut costs to help small farmers.

It is admirable to see Microsoft investing in these programs with global reach that can really make a difference.
